Part 1: Being Pensive at Sakleshpur
I decided to write this post after enduring weeks of writer’s block, events ranging from celebrating an aunt’s 50th birthday to lamenting my football club’s sale of their best player and a book by Neil Gaiman (It was Anansi Boys, if you care that is). It was Mr.Gaiman’s command of the language and his skilful ability to describe a scene to perfection that inspires me to write (one among the many brilliant writers I’ve read). And so here goes.
It has been quite the sabbatical (which was unintentional, if you’re concerned that is) but for the unforeseeable future, I’m back to blogging, back to photography and back to playing around with Photoshop and HTML which I hope is the stimuli I need to go that extra mile.
So in these past few months, I’ve managed to finish Engineering without losing any Limbs. I think that greatly reduces the odds of me having post - traumatic stress disorder. I think that’s a great sign.
I finished Engineering with a couple of job offers in my hands. I know I’m not the chosen one, but it sure is doing my Ego some good knowing that some companies are genuinely interested in me. That’s a sign that all is not bad with the world. Whether I’ll take the job or not is something that’s going to be shrouded in ambiguity for now. I want to pursue a Master’s degree (More studies, sigh!) and there’s a lot of responsibility associated with that path.
So here’s to 2014, 12 Months of Potential. Looking forward to doing something cool.
Cheers and Buenos Dias!
p.s- On a totally unrelated topic, Jose Mourinho, just friggin’ play Mata already. We pass like 2-year olds without him in Midfield.
